Commissioned research with 54 modelled production scenarios. KaiProva’s carbon figures are calculated from it. It is commissioned modelling, not an independent validation — we say so plainly. KaiProva’s animal-level calculations and verification outcomes are its own — how the two relate.

Biosecurity infrastructure
Built on each country’s official animal identity system, such as NAIT and NLIS. Official records stay independently queryable, never bypassed. KaiProva rides on biosecurity infrastructure, not in place of it.

Calculated from a verified record
New Zealand young dairy beef on grass carries a carbon result modelled by AgResearch under commission, against the Beef + Lamb New Zealand Class 9 baseline. The research is the input; the animal-level calculation, and the verification of the record it runs on, are KaiProva’s own. The figure and its full scope are on the science page. It can only be relied on in procurement when the record behind it is verified.
